Ordering from Smart Cells International 

Smart Cells aims to ensure all expectant parents make an informed choice about storing their child's umbilical cord blood. Therefore we recommend  you are satisfied with answers to the following questions:

  • Does the Company hold a current HTA licence? 
  • Will I get a detailed  certificate of storage?
  • Where is the cord blood stored?
  • How long does my cord blood get stored for?
  • How many successful transplants has the company been involved with?

When you have all the answers to these questions and are satisfied you wish to collect and store your baby's cord blood, then:

  • ensure you have discussed the details with your Birthing Partner
  • aim to have made your decision 6 weeks before your baby's due date
  • decide which package suits your personal requirements and order
