Juste Juozapaityte is a Lithuanian born model / social media influencer and entrepreneur based in London.
Could you please provide a brief intro of your career/background?
I used to be a professional model, turned entrepreneur and started a healthy mineral water business. My partner Mike is in office furniture business.
Why did you decide to store your baby’s stem cells?
Stem cell technology has been around and on a rise for a while, so we wanted to be a step ahead and just in case anything happens where Florence needs serious medical help, she would have her own stem cells as an option of treatment. We believe that in the near future there will be many more stem cell uses available to improve your wellbeing so why not give this option to your child?
Had you heard about stem cell banking before? If so, where?
We never heard of it before we met Smart Cells at the Baby Show in London.
What has your experience been like with Smart Cells?
We were very impressed with the transparency Smart Cells provided. We were invited to come and see the process and meet the staff. They were great at answering all the question in a very simple and understandable language. It made us feel confident in choosing Smart Cells.
Did the process work as you had expected it to? Did you find it to be an easy process?
We had a general idea of how it would work, but it was amazing to find out the ins and outs of it and it is actually a very attentive and complicated process.
Are there any obstacles that would have prevented you from using our service?
What would you say to a friend or colleague who was thinking of using Smart Cells?
I would say that Smart Cells is the best option for stem cell banking available in the UK In my opinion. They are very trustworthy and friendly and professional and their extensive international customer base proves it.
Would you recommend this service to others? If so, why?
I would recommend it, which I already do to all my friends who are expecting or thinking about having children. We used Smart Cells and from the very first conversation, we have been always looked after and informed of any steps or procedures. Even when my planned C-section got delayed by 6 hours, the lady who was collecting my samples was very supportive and made me feel relaxed and not rushed. Everything was well organised so we didn’t have to worry on the day. When our samples got tested and confirmed that they are good for storage, we received a certificate by post.
What would be your advice to any parents who are looking into storing their baby’s stem cells?
Find the right service provider, it is very important to find someone who you can trust in storing something that can potentially save your child’s or family members life.
